Yesterday i have been to the " Uhrengeschäft" and after some loud and bad language and shouting (the clock was really difficult to open) the repairman presented (with a glamorous smile) a working Jura clock. For the 7 euro's I payed it was 50 euro's of fun :)

    Thanks everyone

Thanks for the answer. It no good news. Anyway, even a dead clock will show the right time at least twice a day ....

Thanks for taking the time to find the manual. It does however not mention the clock. I contacted a JURA dealer in the Netherlands and they also don't know.

    Regards,

    Hans

    Vielen danke, Helmut !

    Indeed, it works !

Spending many hours looking for an answer and the answer is simple ...

Pushing the button for a few seconds switches on the "strong coffee" light.
And indeed, it is strong coffee .. very strong !

I think i dont need sleep anymore for the next 24 hours :)

Only the clock problem left... anyone ?

Please excuse me for writing in English, but my knowledge of the German language is not that good.

I have recently aquired a Jura E5 (millenium edition). With some trial and error and reading on (Dutch) forums I found some good info. But some questions remain ..

    The clock :
On front is a small round clock (millenium edition). The clock stands still and there must be a battery inside. I have tried to open the small clock (size of a watch) but I can't find a way to open it, and I am afraid to use too much force on it.Does anyone know how top open ?

    Strong caffee :
On the display is a LED light for " kaffe stark / extra stark" . In the manual it says : "

Sobald die Kontrolllampe leuchtet, können Sie Kaffee beziehen.
Ⅲ Stellen Sie 1 Tasse bzw.

When the machine is ready it never lights this LED light. And there is no " bezugtaste" on the machine for extra strong.

Does anyone know how I can make the extra strong Kaffee ?

    THanks for reading

    Hans,Niederlande
