Hi, mine is also not original .. i need to check what is the official OS for hte tool. I get a lot of errors (e. g. divsion/0, not allowed to access .ini file in installatoin path,..) when running the software (currently under win7 as admin, and also tried compatibility mode for WInXP..) But I'm a bit furhter already, so thanks a lot.. will keep you updated.. thanks so far.. Hermann

Thanks a lot .. i tried already to dwonload/install the OS. i got always error messages .. but now I started the tool and got a message similar to yours (PICkit3 connected. ID = ...) But so fare no success to connect to any deivce .. what would be the procedure for this ? STart the Software without Connection to the board. then plug in the board .. and then ? Hermann

HI, So far not, only the one shown in the picture below. just tired to install an OS on the pickit3 .. it says "downloading Pickit3 bootloader", but then "Downloading bootloader failed" and I should use Tools ==> Check communication.. Afterwards I'm back to the MPlab message. Two PCs arlrady tried .. (but one is windows 10) just searching for another cable.. but I guess most likely I shoudl try MPlab as tool .. maybe this would work.. Hermann

Guten Morgen, danke für die schnelle Antwort. ja, Im Testmode geht alles. Sämtliche verschiedenen Resetvorschläge habe ich ohne Erfolg durchprobiert. zum Teil Reagiert die Maschine drauf, zum teil nicht. Aber da gibt es verschiedenste Tastenkombinationen . .da sind vermutlich auch "Fake News" dabei ja, Programmierversuche bislang nur mit gezogenem Netzstecker. Zumindest die Software (PICkit3 grorammer, v 3.10 Device File version 1.62.15 unter win7) beschwert sich, wenn ich das Pickit nicht dran …

Sorry, die Antwort hatte ich über sehen. die Maschine bring ein Lauflicht, wenn ich vorne auf den Einschaltknopf drücke (also nicht gleich, wenn ich hinten den hauptschalter einschalte). Sämtliche Testfunktionen (BG auf/Ab,...) funktionieren einwandfrei. Vordere Bedienplatine habe ich vor kurzem wg. getauscht, dann ging die Maschine kurz um jetzt ein Karriere als Discolauflicht anzustreben. Hallo, der post ist zwar schon alt, aber das Bild meiner Platine sieht genau so aus wie meine aus einer ESAM3000 Magnifica B1.. Also hab ich meinen PICKIT genauso angeschlossen. Leider wird kein device erkannt. Gibt es hier eine etwas detailierter Anleitung wie man das mit dem Programmieren macht ? ich hab auch die connector pads zum Pin vom Chip druchgemessen und mit dem DAtenblatt verglichen ...sieht gut aus.. aber warum erkennt mein PICKit kein device ? Bin für jeden Hinweis dankbar.. Hermann
