I have bought a second hand ESAM 5400 because of my ESAM4500 broke down.

No i have these three issues witch i think, maybe are related to each other.

Issue

1. The front door sometimes springs open
2. The grinded coffee is not as compact as my old esam 4500.
3. When i grind the beans fine there is no problem, when i grind the beans less fine it show problems that it is grinded to fine.

Any sugestions?

it doesn't make any difference at all

My esam 4500 makes real coffee solid cookies you can hold between your fingers.
this unit esam 5400 isnt doing the same, it fells in the disposable container en breaks in 1 big mass.

Is this normal?
